A historical building in Calderdale is being auctioned off at bargain-basement price.

The property, on Wade House Road, in Shelf, known as Tower Buildings, is a former council library.

At auction, the building has a starting bid of £125,000 with property auctioneers Pugh, part of Eddisons.

The property fronts Wade House Road (A6036) at its intersection with The Grove.

The building lies within a mixed use location approximately three miles north east of Halifax town centre and four miles south west of Bradford city centre.

It also offers parking to the rear for eight vehicles.
