Fire crews tackle major warehouse blaze in Halifax
Firefighters from across West Yorkshire have been tackling a major blaze at a warehouse in Boothtown through the night.
Crews were called to Grantham Works, Grantham Road, just after midnight.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said a furnace was involved in the blaze and at its height, an aerial appliance, four large jets, two hose reels and eight breathing apparatus were used to bring the fire under control.
Appliances attended from Halifax, Odsal, Illingworth, Shipley, Wakefield, Fairweather Green and Killingbeck.
A number of specialist officers attended the incident.
