Spring into action for Ravenscliffe
On April 26, Ravenscliffe High School, Halifax, and the Courier are inviting people to walk along the Calder and Hebble canal from Brighouse to Copley Cricket Club, Halifax, or along Rochdale canal from Hebden Bridge to the cricket club where walkers are invited to meet with Ravenscliffe staff, pupils and friends, from 4pm.
Walkers are invited to meet at Calder Holmes Park Hebden Bridge, from 1pm, and from Brighouse’s canal tow path near Sainsbury’s from 2pm.

Hide AdSponsored walkers will watch an inspirational video of two brothers with cerebral palsy, Nathan and Andrew, being lifted to the top of Stoodley Pike, Todmorden, in an Aim Higher Challenge part of the Spring Walk for Spring Hall.
Head teacher Martin Moorman, said: “We hope as many people will join us on the day and hope the sun will shine.
“Spring Walk for Spring Hall is a great opportunity for the wider Calderdale community to show their practical support for the Ravenscliffe@SpringHall project.
The last push of the Ravenscliffe@SpringHall campaign is to raise £500,000 to equip the new centre with special equipment to teach teenagers with educational needs.
