Traffic moving again in Todmorden
Although, officially closed, vehicles have been getting through from early this morning.
Police Insp Rachel Bairstow said the levels of floodwater had subsided overnight but motorists still need to be aware of potential problems.

Hide AdThe town was battered by flash floods after an inch of rain fell in around 15 minutes.
An Environment Agency flood warning remains in place for Walsden including Rochdale Road, Salford including Rochdale Road, Salford Way and Foundry Street.
A flood alert covers the River Calder and its tributaries from Todmorden to Brighouse.
More rain is expected today with forecasters saying some showers will be heavy especially this afternoon.
Tonight, is expected to see more showers.

Hide AdMetro said buses have replaced trains between Hebden Bridge and Rochdale.
Train services are operating between Leeds and Hebden Bridge and also between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale.
Due to a landslip buses will not serve Walsden.
Trains are not expected to resume until at least 2 pm today.
