FC Halifax Town: “He was the number one target” says Wild on Cheltenham loanee Campbell
Campbell, who Town signed from Cheltenham on loan for the rest of the season, was cup-tied having already appeared in the FA Trophy this season, so didn’t feature in Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat to Southport.
But he could make his debut in Saturday’s National League game against Bromley at The Shay.

“He’s been to Gloucester (on loan) and scored five goals so we’ve got a kid who’s bang in form and ready to prove a point to Cheltenham.”
Wild added: “We had four targets for that position, and he was the number one target, so we’re very pleased that we got him, because we fought off competition for Tahvon, one of whom was Bromley.
