FC Halifax Town: Sutton game is postponed due to Storm Dennis
FC Halifax Town's National League game against Sutton at The Shay has been postponed due to the horrendous weather expected to take place in Calderdale today.
Town said yesterday that the pitch was playable, but arranged a preliminary pitch inspection for 8am this morning.
Calderdale is expected to be battered by Storm Dennis this weekend, while the Shay pitch sustained a deluge the previous weekend due to Storm Ciara.
Halifax RLFC are due to play Dewsbury at The Shay tomorrow (Sunday).
